Finland Visa – Tourist

Finland Tourist Visa:

– Min. 3 months valid passport from the date of departure from Schengen area (with atleast 2 blank pages along with any old passport)
– 1 application form to be filled and duly signed by the pax in his own handwriting and should mention his mobile number
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 36 x 47 mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face
– Covering letter addressed to “The Embassy of Finland, New Delhi” (On the letter-head of the company If self-employed)
– Leave sanction letter from company on the company letter-head with seal and signature specifying the leave dates (if employed)
– Forex or Credit Card Copy
– Hotel confirmations for the entire stay in the Schengen area    “OR”
– Invitation letter and proof of identity from the inviter. It should include the purpose, duration of the visit, relationship with inviter and their contact details (address, email ID, mobile number etc). Indian passport copy and Finnish PR copy of the inviter also to be attached
– Confirm return ticket showing departure after minimum 15 working days
– Tour itinerary
– Till date 6 months bank statement with original bank seal and signature with healthy balance
– Last 3 years IT Returns
– Shop-Act/MoA/Partnership Deed etc (should be in English)
– Travel insurance – covering the entire stay in the Schengen area and 15 days beyond the departure date
– Photocopy of the first and the last page of the passport
– Occupation proof – 3 months’ Salary slip
– For Student – NOC and ID card copy of the school/college

Note:

– Personal submission mandatory even if bio-metrics is done
– Visa fees, courier charges etc are to be paid personally at the VFS (subject to change)
– Pax travelling for the first time to Schengen area has to come in person for visa or else pax can appear for an interview in the honorary consulate and get the visa form attested by the consulate and then provide us the same
– Valid visa stamped on the old passport is automatically cancelled and applicant to apply for fresh visa
– If applicant has not travelled earlier despite having Schengen visa then applicant needs to give reason as why he/she did not travel
– All documents should be in English or a notarized English copy should be provided
– All copies should be in A4 size only
