Slovakia Visa – Tourist

Slovakia Tourist Visa:

– Min. 6 month valid passport with at least 2 blank pages
– Clear photocopies of all the used pages of the passport
– 1 duly filled application form
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45 mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face (lips closed)
– Covering letter addressed to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of The Slovak, New Delhi” explaining the purpose of visit and the entire travel plan (itinerary)
– Hotel reservation(s) for the entire stay in the Schengen area “OR”
– Official Invitation Form – verified by the Slovak Foreign Police Department (mandatory for first time travellers to the Schengen area and applying for the visa via Slovak Embassy) Original hard copy
– Original Invitation letter / Letter of Guarantee – For private visit (visiting family or friends), an invitation issued by the inviting party with officially certified signature by notary, or certified by the Foreign Police Department is required. Invitation verified by the Foreign Police Department may be required for visa applicants of any nationality
– Flight reservations (with intra-Schengen travel, if any)
– Travel insurance covering the entire stay
– Till date 3 months personal bank statement with bank seal and signature and healthy balance
– IT Returns acknowledgement for the last 2 assessment yearts
If employed:
– Salary slips for last 3 months
– Leave sanction letter on company letter-head with company stamp and signature
– Employment contract / appointment letter
– If self-employed: Company Registration copy (GST Certificate, Partnership Deed, MoA etc)
– Certificate of a travel agency confirming the booking of an organised trip

Note:

— Visa fees, courier and sms charges to be paid personally at the VFS centre (approx. INR9200)
Invitation letter should contain:
— Details of the inviting person – name, address, phone number.
— Date and place, where the letter was written.
— Details of invited person – name, address, phone number.
— Naming the invited person and the reason of inviting.
— Purpose of the visit (if traveling around Slovakia then it should specified where the invited person will stay and who will pay the costs – inviting person or the invited).
— The invitation letter should be signed by the inviting person
