Sweden Visa – Tourist

Sweden Tourist Visa:

– Min. 6 months validity passport from date of travel with atleast two blank pages
– Photocopy of the passport (first and the last page)
– Old passports
– 3 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face coverage
– Covering letter from applicant introducing himself, explaining the purpose, duration and itinerary of the visit in brief and addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi” (On company letter-head, if self-employed)
– Appendix D
– Appendix E (needs to be filled, signed and emailed by the inviter)
– Data protection form
– Hotel confirmation for the entire stay in the Schengen area “OR”
– Invitation letter (241011) from Sweden along with the passport copy and the PR copy along with latest 3 months bank statement, 3 month pay slips and address proof
– Certificate proving the existence of family relationship – Kinship Proof (Marriage certificate, birth certificate etc)
– Air ticket reservations
– Travel insurance for the entire stay in the Schengen area (Min. 10 days) with a minimum coverage of $50000 including the date of arrival and departure
– Till date 3 months bank statements with original bank seal and signature and healthy balance
– Last 2 years IT Returns (Assessment Years)
– 6 months salary slips (if employed)
– Employment contract / appointment letter (if employed)
– Leave sanction letter on company letter-head with seal and signature (if employed)
– If self-employed: PAN card copy and Company registration copy/latest 3 months current bank statement duly attested by the bank
– For students: Bonafide certificate from the school, college or university and ID card copy

Note:

— Visa fees, VFS service charges, courier and sms charges to be paid personally at the VFS centre (approx. INR10,500)
— Application form to be filled, dated, and signed by the applicant himself/herself only
— Blank Passports Holders / First Timer to Schengen Country might be called for the personal interview
— All documents need to be in A4 size only. If any documents not in A4 size, such dox must be sent both in original as well as in photocopy in A4
