Swiss Family Reunification Visa:
– Min. 3 months valid passport from the date of return from Switzerland with at least 2 blank pages
– 4 latest, unused photos: 35 x 40 mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face (lips closed and without spects); 3 photos pasted on the applications and 1 photo clipped to the last page of the passport
– 3 visa application forms duly filled and signed as per the passport
– All previous passports
– Covering letter (1 original and a copy)
– Original invitation letter from the host in Switzerland with full details of the inviter like name, address, mobile number and email ID (along with one copy)
– 2 copies of the host’s / inviter’s passport copy (bio-page and address page)
– 2 copies of host’s / inviter’s residence / work permit in Switzerland
– Original marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriages
– The marriage certificate should be legalized within the last 6 months by the competent State Home Ministry and further legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi
– 2 copies also need to be submitted
– Marriage Deeds are not accepted by the Embassy
– Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
– Children
– If children accompanying the applicant, their original birth certificates duly legalized within the last 6 months, by the competent State Home Ministry and further legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs New Delhi include
– 2 copies of the birth certificate have to be provided to the Embassy.
– Clear photocopies of valid UK, USA, Schengen or Canada visas (if applicable)
– Photocopies of the current passport’s bio-page and address page
– If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last 2 years, please provide the Refusal Notice or a written explanation about the reasons of refusal

— Visa fees, courier and sms charges to be paid personally by the applicant at the Embassy
— Documents mentioned in the checklist are only accepted
— Application for a family reunification visa has to be submitted personally at the Visa Section, Embassy of Switzerland, New Delhi
— Appointment has to be scheduled prior to visiting the Embassy
— Embassy of Switzerland reserves the right to ask for additional documents and/or a personal interview
