Belgium Visa – Tourist

Belgium Tourist Visa:

– Minimum 3 months valid passport beyond the intended duration of stay in Belgium
– Old passports (if any)
– Application form completely filled online and signed by the applicant in blue ink
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face, lips closed & without spects
– Passport photocopy (front and back page on single page)
– Photocopies of valid USA / UK / Canada / Australia visas
– Covering letter explaining the purpose of the visit with complete and full address and contacts of hotel in Belgium (on company letter-head if self-employed)
– Travel insurance for the entire stay in the Schengen area including the date of arrival and departure with a minimum coverage of $50,000/
– Day to day itinerary (explain the entire day to day travel plan)
– Ticket reservation
– Hotel bookings
– Till date bank statements for the last 3 months with original bank seal and signature with healthy balance
– Last 3 years IT returns
– PAN Card copy
– Last 3 months salary slip (if employed)
– MoA / Shop Act / Partnership Deed (if Self-Employed)
– Any one address proof – Index II, Electricity bill, etc
– Minors below 18 years travelling alone must submit the written consent of their parents/guardian
– Authority letter from the applicant and the travel agency authorizing the submission by a third party/person

Note:

– Visa fees (Euro 90), courier and sms charges to be paid at the VFS centre personally
– Both doses of Covishield are mandatory & the second should have been taken minimum 14 days before travel date

If Invited by Family/Friend:

– Sponsorship letter – Formal Obligation in original (3BIS – with original authentication family certificate which will include the name of all the family members)
– Passport copy of the sponsor (if Indian, passport copy and Residence Permit copy)
– Sponsor’s work contract from company
– Sponsor’s Salary slip for last 3 months
– Sponsor’s IRS (IT Returns) for last 3 years
– Bank statement for the last 1 year of the sponsor

– Visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the Embassy/Consulate
– Visa documents list is tentative; the Embassy/Consulate shall call for more, if required
– Visa fees & VFS Charges are subject to change & non-refundable
– Service charges are non-refundable
– The Embassy/Consulate shall call for an interview with the applicant(s), if needed
– Visa processing times may vary at the discretion of the issuing authority
– Hotel bookings / ticket itinerary charges, if any, will be additional
– Covid vaccination proof with booster dose might be required during travel
