Brazil Visa- Tourist

Brazil Tourist Visa:

– Min. 6 months’ valid passport from the date of travel with 2 blank pages facing each other
– Online visa application form duly filled and signed by pax only
– Latest 2 photos – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face
– Original detailed covering letter on company letterhead if having own business with company intro, application designation and exact visit places in Brazil
– Original covering letter from PAXs on plain paper with applicant’s designation and exact dates of leave (if employed)
– Original leave letter on company letterhead with company intro, applicant’s designation and exact dates of leave (if employed)
– Company offer letter copy
– Shop-Act License/MoA/Partnership Deed Copy (if self-employed)
– Original personal bank statement for last 06 months with original Bank seal & sign on each page with min. balance of 1 lakh (copy of bank passbook will not do)
– IT papers copy for last 3 years with Notary and Home Dept. from Mumbai (Personal as well as company, if self-employed)
– Hotel booking confirmations “OR”
– Invite letter from the inviter in English and Portuguese languages and the passport copy of the inviter – both with Notary from Brazil in original
– Confirm air ticket (preferably apply for visa at least 1 month before travel date)
– Children below 7 years: Polio vaccination certificate along with original Birth Certificate and a copy

Notes:

– Visa fees (INR8000) has to be paid directly from the applicant’s personal account to the Brazil Consulate’s account
– The consulate will require confirm Issued Air ticket only. Please note if the consulate find that the Air ticket is not confirmed than the Visa will get refused and the pax will have to come personally to collect the passport
– The invite letter needs to be in English and Portuguese language with CNPJ No. and Notary from Brazil. Both letters are mandatory in original for submission
– The consulate will require a clause in the Invitation which comes from Brazil and in the covering letter from India for all Business visa applications. If the clause is not mentioned in the Invitation and Covering letter, the visa application will not be accepted by the consulate.
– Yellow fever certificate is mandatory at the time of travel (Not required for visa processing)
– A person below 18 years of age, not travelling with both parents or legal guardian must provide a Notarised Form (available at the consulate) of consent signed by the non-accompanying parent or guardian attested by Mantralaya. The consulate will then legalize the documents. A fee of Rs. 1200/- will be charged in the form of Pay Order payable at Mumbai in the name of “Consulate General of Brazil”
