China Visa- Tourist

China Tourist Visa:

– Visa Application Form to be filled online.
– Original passport valid for at least 6 months, with 2 or more blank visa pages, and the photocopy of relevant pages of the passport.
– Expired passports within 5 years and the photocopy of relevant pages of the passports.
– Recently-taken color passport photos (full face, front view and bare head. Size: 33 x 48 mm, white background, glossy finish, 70% face)
– For foreign nationals’ Indian long-term residence or work permits
– Covering letter addressed to “The Consulate General of the Peoples Republic of China, Mumbai (if self-employed, this letter should be on the company letter-head)
– Latest 6 months personal bank statement with minimum balance of INR1.6 lakhs with bank seal and signature on all pages
– Leave sanction letter from the employer on letter-head with seal and signature (if employed)
– 3 months salary slips (if employed)
– Company registration copy (if self-employed, for eg: GST Certificate)
– Certificate of Covid-19 vaccination with verifiable QR Code
– Day to day itinerary as per ticket
– Confirm return ticket
– Hotel confirmation voucher directy from China on the hotel letter-head with sign and stamp covering the entire duration of stay (Should have applicant’s name as per -passport and passport number) “OR”
– Invitation letter addressed to “The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai” along with the inviter’s passport copy and China ID copy. It should contain:
– Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc)
– Information on the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, places to be visited etc)
– Information on the inviter (name, contact number, address, signature etc)
– Fill the attached “Required Info” form and send across

Note:

— If more than 1 passport then INR850 per extra passport will be charged for courier
— Invite letter can be in the form of a fax or scanned computer copy, however, the visa officer may call for the original letter
— Express visa charges – INR6000 (extra) (subject to change)
— If the applicant is a frequent tourist to China, then the covering letter should contain details of reason for re-visit, the placed the applicant plans to visit this time and the places the applicant visited before
— If the applicants travel in China is on a group basis, the invitation letter issued by the travel agency is required
— This list of documents is tentative and the Consulate reserves the right to request for more if required
