Denmark Visa – Tourist

Denmark Tourist Visa:

– Min. 6 months validity passport with atleast 2 blank pages and old passports, if any
– Coloured photocopy of all the pages of current passport booklet
– Application form to be filled on https://applyvisa.um.dk/; Also application fee to be paid online
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face coverage
– Covering letter from applicant introducing self, explaining purpose, duration and itinerary of the visit in brief addressed to “Royal Danish Embassy, New Delhi”
– Travel insurance covering the entire stay including arrival and departure dates with a minimum coverage of $50000
– Till date updated 3 months bank statement with original bank seal and signature with healthy balance
– 3 years IT Returns
– If employed, proof of employment, leave sanction letter on company’s letter-head mentioning the duration of leave and joining back date and salary slips for latest 3 months
– If self-employed, company’s bank statement, 3 years IT Returns, Shop Act/Partnership Deed etc
– Flight reservations of return or round ticket. If the applicant is travelling to several Schengen States, proof of inter-Schengen flight, train itinerary or car rental
– People joining cruise liner in the onward journey, should provide the ticket & payment receipt
– Hotel reservations for the entire stay  ‘OR’
– Invitation from Denmark specifically containing the applicant’s name, address, and relationship with the inviter (proof to be attached), the duration of stay and the nature of cost being sponsored (Preferable to fill online VU2 invitation form)
– Copy of inviter’s passport and a copy of residence and/or work permit
– Proof of accommodation (Lease agreement, Electricity bill, water bill, etc)
– For Students: leave letter / report card issued from School and ID Card copy

Note:

– Agent submission not allowed from 02 Feb 2020 as bio-metrics will be taken each time
– Visa application form to be filled, dated and signed by the applicant himself/herself only
– All supporting documents in A4 size papers only
– Family details of the applicant must be provided with the Date of Birth and occupation (Designation & Job joining date) of the family members
– In case of student the name of the Institute, course name and joining date is MUST
– One set of Colored copy of the entire passport including blank pages. If having old passport colored copies of first and last page and UK, US, Australia, Canada and Previous Schengen Visa Copies, if any
– All documents in English only; if any in regional language then notarized English translation in original needs to be submitted
