Dominican Republic Visa – Tourist

Dominican Republic Tourist Visa:

– Minimum 6 months valid passport
– Photocopy of bio-data page, address page and copy of all valid visa pages
– Duly filled and signed visa application form
– 3 latest, unused photos – 2 x 2 inch, white background, matte finish, 80% face coverage
– Air ticket itinerary
– Hotel confirmations
– Covering letter along with courtesy translation in Spanish (Mandatory)
– Bank letter stating date of opening of an account, annual average balance maintained during the year, date of last deposit in the account or bank certificates
– Till date 3 months bank statement
– Invitation letter (if available) – If invited by friend or relative, applicant must attach an invitation letter in Spanish which should be notarized and legalized by the Procuraduría General de la República Dominicana along with a copy of the Dominican ID (Cédula) or residence status of the Guarantor/Invitee. Also, the letter must include the following clause:
“Garantizo que (nombre, nacionalidad y pasaporte), no permanecerá en la República Dominicana más tiempo que el concedido por la Dirección General de Migración, ni solicitará residencia o cambio de estatus migratorio desde el territorio dominicano, dedicándose exclusivamente a la actividad por la cual le fue otorgado el visado. Me hago moral y económicamente responsable de su retorno a su país de origen, asumiendo pagar a favor del Estado Dominicano cualquier gasto en que dicha persona pueda incurrir durante su estancia en el país, o que se origine como consecuencia de su repatriación o deportación del mismo”.
PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) emitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Apostille (PCC should not be older than 1 year and a certified translation in Spanish is mandatory)

Note:

— Before providing docs to us applicant needs to send email to the Embassy on embadom@dr-embassy-india.com mentioning the purpose of visit with copy of the Invitation (if any). The Embassy in turn shall reply the email mentioning the exact requirements, which the applicant is required to procure and provide us
— Visa process;
— All documents as per checklist to be scanned and sent to Embassy by email
— Embassy will update regarding documentations, if required
— After processing documents, Embassy will send email their account details to pay the visa fees
— Applicant needs to make the payment and share the payment receipt with the Embassy
— After the file is approved by the Embassy, they will send email to the applicant to submit the passport and check for collection updates
— During the process, the Embassy may reach out to the applicant through mobile or email for any verification, so the applicant’s contact number and email ID is must for visa processing
