Ireland Tourist Visa:
– 2 Visa Application form duly filled online (Application Summary Sheet) https://www.visas.inis.gov.ie/avats/OnlineHome2.aspx
– Min. 6 months valid passport from the date you plan to leave Ireland
– Photocopy of each page of all previous passports
– If planning to travel to another country after Ireland, need to apply for that country’s visa first (other than UK)
– 3 latest photographs (35mm x 45mm, matt finish, white background, 80% face visible, without spectacles to avoid glare)
– On the back of each photo sign your name, write your Visa Application Transaction Number from AVATS
– Covering letter (Addressed to The Irish Consulate General, Mumbai) – on company letter-head, if self-employed. This letter must also include commitment that you will:
– Obey the conditions of your visa in full
– Not rely on public services or become burden on the state
– Leave Ireland before your immigration permission expires
– Income tax papers last 3 years
– Till date update 6 months bank statement with bank seal and signature with sufficient balance
– Salary slip Last 3 months
– Leave sanction letter on company letter-head with seal and signature (if employed) mentioning how long you have been working in the company with your dates of leave from the company and your date of joining back
– If self-employed, company registration copy like Shop-Act, MoA etc
– Foreign exchange or International credit card or Financial sponsorship from Ireland
– Return ticket
– Hotel vouchers “OR”
– Documents from the inviter
– Invitation letter (Addressed to The Irish Consulate General, Mumbai) with all relevant details with the inviter’s colour passport copy and Ireland visa copy or National ID Card copy. This letter must also include a statement that they understand that you must:
– Obey the conditions of your visa in full
– Not rely on public services or become burden on the state
– Leave Ireland before your immigration permission expires
– Till date 6 months bank statement with bank stamp and signature
– Latest 3 months bank statement
– Their most recent tax return document
– A letter from their employer that confirms they are employed
– Travel Insurance (Not mandatory for visa application but may be called for later by the visa officer before taking a decision on the application)
Note:
– You should submit current and old passports along with a photocopy of each page of all the passports submitted
– Documents must be submitted within 30 days of creating an application on AVATS
– Original documents must be provided as per the documents mentioned in the document checklist at the Embassy of Ireland website You are also required to provide a copy of all original documents (other than photographs submitted)
– Any State issued official documents, such as Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Death Certificates, Divorce Certificates that were issued by a State outside of the EEA or Switzerland, must be attested/apostilled as genuine by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
– Translations done outside the EEA or Switzerland must also be attested/apostilled as genuine, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country in which the translation occurs
