Italy Visa – Tourist

Italy Tourist Visa:

– Min. 3 months validity passport from the date of return with at least 2 blank pages along with old passport, if any
– Duly filled and signed application form
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face (lips closed & without spects)
– Covering letter – name of applicant/s, travel dates, who is bearing the expenses, and purpose of visit. And if self-employed, the covering letter should be on the company’s letter-head
– Leave sanction letter from employer (if employed) – mentioning the dates of leave sanctioned on the company letterhead, and signature of the authorized signatory
– Self-Employed / Businessman – Shop Act/MoA/Partnership Deed/GST Registration etc
– Travel itinerary – travel dates and places of travel during the entire trip to be mentioned
– Confirmed hotel reservations covering the entire stay in the Schengen area
– In case of sponsor, then, Invitation letter from the sponsor in Italy (“Lettera Di Invito”) accompanied by copy of identification, his Permit to Stay (Permessso Di Soggiorno), his passport copy + visa copy + Bank Guarantee (Visiting Family OR Friend)
– Till date 3 months salary bank statement with original bank seal and signature and healthy balance
– If self-employed, then 3 months company bank statement also required
– 3 assessment years IT returns
– 3 months salary slips (if employed)
– Photocopy of passport bio-page and address page
– Photocopies of all previous Schengen visas and valid US & UK visas
– International credit card copy with latest statement mentioning credit limit (not mandatory)
– Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $50000 and covering for a minimum of 10 days and the entire trip including India exit and entry dates
– Air ticket reservations (including intra Schengen travel)
– Marriage Certificate if spouses’ do not have each other’s names on the passport
– For minors – NOC from non-travelling parent/s

Note:

— For tourist purpose, documents need to be submitted minimum 15 working days prior to the travel dates
— Visa fees, courier and sms charges to be paid personally at the VFS centre
