Mexico Tourist Visa:

– Minimum 6 months valid passport from the date of travel
– Application form duly filled (printed on one page, double sided)
– 3 latest, unused photos – 35 x 45mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face (lips closed and without spects)
– Passport photocopies (bio and address page)
– Covering letter addressed to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of Mexico, New Delhi” (If the applicant is a self-employed person, this letter should be on the letter-head of his company)
– If employed: leave sanction letter from the employer on the company letter-head with company seal and signature (please include the PAN card of the signatory)
– If self-employed: Company registration copy (GST Certificate, Shop-Act License, Partnership Deed, MoA etc)
– Ticket itinerary
– Hotel booking(s) “OR”
– Original letter of invitation from the Mexican organization (public or private). This letter must contain the following details:
– Complete name of the person (same as in the passport) and nationality.
– Official Registry or Denomination of the organization. (Razón Social de la organización o institución).
– Number of the official registry, if it corresponds to the organization.
– Mission/objective of the organization or institution (private or public).
– Complete address and contact information of the organization or institution.
– Information of the activity or project that the guest is doing in the organization.
– Estimated duration of the activity that the guest will undertake.
– The letter will have to explicitly mention the commitment of the organization or institution to cover all expenses of the person invited during his/her stay in Mexico and the commitment of his return to his/her country of residence.
– Copy of an official identification with signature and photography of the person that will sign this letter.
– Original and photocopy of the last 12 months bank statements or investment proofs of the Mexican organization or institution, stamped and signed by the bank
– A document attesting that the applicant has the experience to carry out the activity for which he is invited (example: original degree or educational certificate), duly apostilled
– Detailed tour itinerary (daywise itinerary)
– Latest 6 months bank statement showing salary input with original bank seal and signature on all pages
– Personal IT Returns for the last 3 years or Form 16
– Last 3 months salary slips with company seal and signature
– Payment receipt of Embassy’s designated bank (Mumbai / New Delhi)
– Aadhaar card copy

Note:

— Personal appearance mandatory for biometrics and submission of documents with prior appointment (For appointments: https://citas.sre.gob.mx/)
— Name of the applicant should be EXACTLY SAME on all the documents i.e. passport, appointment letter, invitation letter, bank statement, IT Returns, salary slips, air ticket, hotel bookings, exchange, credit card copy etc. If there is any mismatch of applicant name on any of the document, the Embassy will not process the visa and will ask the applicant to submit the document again with the correct name
— Holders of any valid, multiple entry and previously used U.S.A., Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Schengen visas (any nationality) or permanent residence of U.S.A., Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Schengen, Pacific Alliance (Colombia, Peru, Chile) DO NOT require a Mexican visa to travel on business, tourism, or transit purpose for or less than 180 days as long as they present any of the mentioned documents at the point of entry. We strongly recommend to share the copy of the passport and any of the above visa to the Embassy email ID to check whether Visa on Arrival can be availed or Mexico visa needs to be stamped from India
— Legal Permanent Residents of USA, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom and Schengen States do not require visa for enter Mexico with tourist, transit and business purposes
— Official/Clergy of Religious organization require prior authorization granted by the Immigration Authority of Mexico (Instituto Nacional de Migracion, INM)
— It is mandatory to provide Marriage certificate if spouse is travelling along with the main applicant and the Marriage certificate must be duly apostiled
— It is mandatory to provide Birth certificates of the children if children are travelling along with the main applicant and the Birth Certificates must be duly apostiled
