South Africa Visa – Tourist

S. Africa Tourist Visa:

– Min. 30 days validity passport from the date of departure from South Africa with two blank pages
– One visa application form No. 11 (DHA-84) signed by passenger as per the passport in BLACK (Parents to sign for minor children) – Do not print back to back
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35mm x 45mm, white background, 80% of face, matte finish, lips closed & without spects
– Last 3 years IT Returns
– Last 3 months updated Original bank statement on bank letter-head with bank seal and signature on all pages with min. balance equivalent to SAR 3000 (Mumbai) or $1000 (New Delhi). Passbooks, e-statements, net banking copies are not acceptable (should be taken within 3 days prior to submission date)
– Cover letter on company letterhead addressing the South Africa Consulate, Mumbai with authorized person name, designation seal and sign; mentioning travel dates with duration of stay (if self employed) with pax address and mobile number
– If working, then personal covering letter with pax residence address and cell number on top addressed to the South Africa Consulate, Mumbai with name passport number, designation and sign mentioning travel dates with duration of stay with pax address and mobile number
– Proof of hotel booking, (verifiable) stating the name and duration of visit, physical address, as well as contact details of the hotel as well as authorized signature’s name, designation and signature
– Note for Group Submission: (Applicable in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa and Bangalore only):
– Letter from South Africa with Name and details of the South Africa tour guide handling company partnering with (name) travel agency in South Africa, listing tourists and signed
– Copy of tours itinerary signed by South Africa host tour handling company
– Ticket itinerary and day-to-day itinerary
– If employee then original leave sanction letter on company letter-head with physical address and contact details and leave dates as per travel dates with authorized person’s name, designation and sign
– For children: NOC letter required on school/college/university letter head with physical address and contact details with pax name, passport number, leave dates as per the travel dates with principal’s name, designation, and sign with school/college seal
– Confirmed return ticket
– If children below 18 traveling without parents then require affidavit from parents on 100/- rupee stamp paper with notary
– Birth certificate copy of a minor child (should be in English or a notarized translation is required)
– Yellow fever vaccination certificate if travelling through or staying in a yellow fever belt

Note:

— VFS, courier, sms charges etc needs to be paid personally at the VFS centre
— All government documents need to be notary attested
— If visa is rejected, applicants can reapply only after 3 months
For minor dependent children accompanied by one parent the following will be required:
— Unabridged Birth Certificate (UBS) (Notarised)
— Parental consent affidavit form attested by South African Consulate, Mumbai
— For Parental Consent Affidavit procedure both parents have to mandatorily visit South Africa Consulate Mumbai from Monday to Thursday between 09:00 to — 12:00 before coming for submission at VFS Global
— Documents such as Parental Consent Affidavit form passport copy of parents as well as child + Unabridged Birth Certificate of child must be carried for Parental Consent Affidavit procedure
— Affidavit less than 3 months old as part of the application. Originals should be kept for their records while travelling Minors who apply for a South African visa at VFS service-point shall be required to submit the attested copy of Parental Consent to South Africa
