Switzerland Visa – Tourist

Swiss Tourist/Visit Visa:

– Visa Fees: 90 Euros
– Min. 3 months validity passport from the date of return
– Old passports (if any)
– 1 online filled application form with pax signature in blue
– 2 photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 40mm, white background, 80% face (Do not staple and the photo shouldn’t have been used in any other visa)
– Covering letter on company letter-head (if self-employed) or on plain paper (if employed) mentioning all details of travel
– Leave sanction letter with leave dates mentioned on company letter-head with seal signature of authorized signatory (if employed)
– Last 3 months’ salary slips (if employed)
– MoA/Shop Act/Partnership Deed (if self-employed)
– Till date 3 months personal & salary account bank statement with bank stamp and signature with healthy balance (A4 size only)
– Last 3 years IT Returns
– Forex or copy of international credit card
– Hotel confirmations for the entire stay in the Schengen area “OR”
– Invitation letter from the inviter giving all details like passport number, name as per passport of the applicant and name, address and contact details of self (Addressed to Embassy of Switzerland, New Delhi). It should also mention the duration of stay, the relationship and the purpose of the invitation
– Inviter’s Indian passport copy and PR copy OR Swiss passport copy/signed ID proof
– Return ticket
– School students above the age of 16 should attach copy of their college ID card and bonafide certificate
– Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $50000 for a minimum of 10 days (Name as per passport)
– Proof of financial means in amount of EUR 50/day for the entire period, but not less than EUR 500 or the equivalent in convertible currency, except for the visa applicants who prove the full payment in advance of the tourism services packages, at least accommodation and meals.

Note:

— If both spouses are working, then bank statements and ITRs of both are require
— Visa fees, courier and sms charges to be paid personally at the VFS centre (approx. INR9,500)
