Taiwan Visa – Tourist

Taiwan Tourist Visa:

– Min. 6-month validity passport from the date of travel and all old passports
– Electronic Visa Form to be on-lined by applicant using website https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw. After on-lining the Electronic Visa Application form a BAR CODE Receipt shall be generated which is to be printed and sent to us along with printouts of Electronic Visa Forms and supporting documents
– 2 Photos (latest, unused) – 35 x 45mm, white background, 60% face coverage. First Photo should be pasted and Second Photo should be clipped, Photos stapled on form will not be accepted
– Photocopy of the 1st, 2nd and last page of the passport is mandatory
– Covering Letter (Separate for each applicant), addressed to The Visa Officer, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, New Delhi mentioning applicant’s designation
– Hotel confirmation
– Request letter from sponsor/hotel booking
– If inviter is an Indian passport holder, then passport copy and Taiwan visa/work permit copy is mandatory
– Day to day itinerary on tour operator’s letter-head with stamp and sign
– Foreign exchange endorsement / Credit card copy with latest statement
– Leave sanction letter from the company (if employed)
– Company Registration Certificate with seal and Signature of Company Registrar/ Import Export License Copy / Industrial License Copy / Chambers Letter (if self-employed)
– Confirmed return ticket (itinerary not acceptable)
– Travel insurance covering the entire stay in Taiwan
– Till date 3 months personal and company bank statement with bank seal and signature and healthy balance
– If employed, then salary bank statement is mandatory
– Last 1 year’s IT Returns should be digitally signed with barcode (w/o barcode ITR papers will not be accepted)
– If ITR is not there, then Form 16 is required with RIGHT TICK mark; Form 16 with Question Mark will NOT be accepted by the Embassy

Note:

— If pax not having TDS certificate, then his 6 months’ salary slip along with photo copy of Appointment Letter and Leave Sanction Letter
— Consular Section is very particular about SIGNATURE of the applicant and rejects the visa if there is any mismatch of signatures on visa form, passport and supporting documents
— Travel dates should be exactly the same on the ticket, form, covering letter and the invite letter. In case of any mismatch, Embassy will not accept the visa application
— List of documents is tentative and the Embassy reserves the right to call for more documents
— All passports issued in Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Tamil Nadu & Karnataka to be applied at the Taiwan Economic and Culture Center / Consulate of Taiwan in Chennai only
