Argentina Visa – Tourist

Argentina Tourist Visa:

– Visa application form; to be filled by hand in Blue ink (printout should NOT be taken back to back)
– 2 latest, unused photos: 40 mm x 40 mm, white background, matte finish, 80% face, lips closed and without spects
– Covering letter (a copy translated in Spanish Language) specifying, dates of travel, cost bearer of the trip, reason of travel, accomodation clause etc. Covering – Letter should be addressed to The Consulate of Argentina, Mumbai
– Aadhaar card copy (mandatory)
– Confirmed return air tickets
– Hotel reservations “OR”
– An original invitation letter from an Argentine resident duly signed by the inviter and certified by an Argentinean Notary Public and attested by the “Colegio de Escribanos”
– Day-to-day itinerary in English and Spanish, duly signed by the applicant
– Travel Insurance covering the entire duration of stay (Preferable)
– Personal bank statement for latest 6 months attested by the bank with sufficient balance
– Copy of international credit card
– Lastest 3 years IT Returns
– 3 months salary slips (in original with company stamp) (if employed)
– Company registration copy (if self-employed)

Note:

— All scanned copy of documents to be emailed to the consulate and attend personal interview
— Cases get referred and collection depends on approval and visa stamping takes minimum 5 working days after approval hence no fix collection date
— All documents must be presented in original (no photocopies or faxes will be accepted), and translated into Spanish. Please note that all translations must be adequate and done by professionals
— After submitting the required documents, visa applicants will be called to come in person for a personal interview with a consular officer. This interview is mandatory by law and admits no exceptions
— The Visas Department is open Monday through Friday, from 09.30 to 10.30 am (for Verification of Documents) untill 12:00pm (for submission/collection of visa applications). The Consulate is closed on Argentine and Indian holidays
— To avoid inconveniences, applicants are advised to submit their application at least thirty (30) days prior to the proposed date of departure. Application for a — Visa requested within 10 days of date of departure will not be accepted
